Fertilization & Weed Control Programs

"Green With Envy offers a very high quality 5 step Fertilization & Weed Control Program".

Our basic 5 step program is designed as follows:

Green With Envy 1: 

This is the early spring application and includes fertilization and pre-emergent grassy weed control (Crabgrass being the main target).  As soil temperatures increase and depending on your particular lawn we may also spot spray broadleaf issues or even add some broadleaf control to our tank mix if spraying this application.

Green With Envy 2:

This is the late spring application and consists another round of  appropriate fertilization as well as an application of a broadleaf weed control blanket.  We will also spot spray any grassy weeds that have germinated after GWE#1.  We also add a general insecticide to this tank mix to to eliminate various lawn damaging insects.

Green With Envy 3:

This is the summer application and will be applied between mid-June to mid-July. It is another dose of fertilizer with spot spray weed control.  It is also when we apply the grub control if you requested it. 

Green With Envy 4:

This is the late summer/early fall application and includes another round of customized fertilization as well as additional broadleaf spray as needed

Green With Envy 5:

This is your late fall application.  This is the winterization/fertilization application and is an all granular application.  This application is designed to give your lawn the nutrients it needs to strengthen the root system and provide for a quick spring green up.
